Okay so you know how tights are out? Well, pants are in. And act as an excellent replacement for the functionality that tights once brought to being able to wear dresses when it’s still cold out. And this dress really needed to be worn, and without tights. Speaking of this dress, isn’t it the cutest thing ever? I haven’t really had a chance to talk about one of my favourite brands here in New York, Otte. They are technically a boutique (selling designers such as Alexander Wang, Kenzo, Rag&Bone, etc.), but recently launched their own line, full of everyday staples to add to your wardrobe in luxury fabrics at an affordable price. So this 100% silk dress? Only $345, which you know, is basically unheard of. All the Otte pieces I have in my wardrobe (from this hat, to this blouse, to this tank), I’ve worn over and over and over again because they’re just perfect in every way and never go out of style. So you know, definitely check it out. And no, I’m not getting paid to say this. That’s just how much I love them.
Speaking of love, Coach is another brand I’ve been so amazed with recently. Especially their shoes, which are also super affordable (the one’s I’m wearing are $428), at a quality which other designer brands charge double or triple for. I’m all about splurging on those pieces that are good quality, yet not as expensive as the other alternatives. Such as these 3×1 jeans, which got hemmed for me while I was still in the store (you can even completely get your own custom pants, it’s the coolest thing EVER), and this Triwa watch which I always get compliments on. The only huge splurge here is my gorgeous mini pashli, but since I’m the luckiest girl in the world, it was a birthday present from Marcel. As you can tell in the last photo, I’m one happy blogger :)
